Connect to SMB/CIFS share using Docker VolumeGluetun VPN - CyberGhost

Prerequisites

• In your qbittorrent folder, create a folder named config , it must be owned by a non-root user. Here i'm using Ubuntu server default user, which has UID=1000 and GID=1000.

• To connect to your SMB share with a docker volume, check here.

• To redirect this container traffic through VPN, check here.

Installation

This container is connected to a SMB share, more informations on this page :Connect to SMB/CIFS share using Docker Volume

This container traffic is redirected to a VPN container, more informations on this page : Gluetun VPN - CyberGhost

If you are neither using SMB volume neither VPN, this compose file will have to be tweaked for your configuration.

You now have qBittorrent up and running, traffic is going through VPN and downloads will be stored on your SMB share.
